: In a dramatic turn of events, a teacher who had gone to school to demand his salary pending for two months, was lifted at gun point, taken to a secluded place and beaten up badly by unknown persons in Chhoti Sadri town of Chittorgarh on Tuesday afternoon. The assailants who kidnapped him later left him wounded at a nearby cremation ground from where the victim walked back home. The teacher Kamlesh Panwar being Nagar Pramukh of the RSS, the organization observed a ‘band’ in the area on Wednesday and demanded immediate arrest of all the accused. Police is investigating the case and no one has been arrested so far.
The victim Kamlesh have been a teacher at Vidya Niketan School in Chhoti Sadri for 13 years. In his statement to the police, he said that his salary for two months had been pending and he was demanding it from the management. On Tuesday he was standing outside his home when some unknown people stopped beside him in a car and enquired about an address. Kamlesh was guiding them when suddenly one of the men threatened him at gun point and pulled inside the vehicle. The assailants took Panwar to a secluded area where they assaulted him brutally. Later they dumped him in a nearby shamshan ghat from where Panwar returned. His family reported the matter to police who laid checkposts to nab the assailants however, no one was caught. The victim alleged involvement of the school management behind the assault. The RSS workers observed a band on Wednesday to mark their protest against the day light attack on their leader. Though police assured them quick action, no one was arrested till evening. A complaint has been lodged against the school secretary and three others.
