Udaipur : Work drive couples apart. Marriages lose charm with time and its too late when spouses realize what they have missed in life. To get such couples on a single platform and to help them re-live the special moments of their marital journey, here is Lamhe- a special overnite festival coming up in Udaipur on February 25. Organized by a team of youngsters as a startup initiative, the festival would see around 350 couples participating from all over the country. “ It will be a 12-hour long event which will see couples from 21 to 65 years who would re-live special moments of their lives journey together, Kripa Sharma, the event organizer said. It is first of its kind festival in India and getting so many couples together under one roof would be a wonder itself which would be sent to the Guiness Books of world records. Such a festival had been earlier organized in Sydney, Australia in 2014 which saw 342 couples and made a record, Kripa said.
Baloon show, lantern, puppet shows, camp fire, classical, sufi, folk music performances and various competitions for the couples would be the major attractions, Jitendra Salvi said.
