JDU chief’s daughter report theft in Udaipur 5 star Hotel

Udaipur : JDU President Sharad Yadav’s daughter Subhashini Bundela and her husband Rajkamal Rao have lodged a complaint of theft during their stay in a five star hotel in Udaipur last November. The complaint is about two diamond rings to have been stolen by some hotel staff when Bundela and her family had shifted their luggage upon re-allotment of room.

The couple came to know about the theft after they reached back home. The matter was reported to the Deputy Police Commissioner, Delhi who ordered a Zero FIR in the case and later the complaint was transferred to Udaipur SP office who further instructed the concerning police station to investigate.

According to the report, Subhashini, Rajkamal, their little son, her mother and brother had stayed here at the Udaivilas hotel from November 26 to 28. They settled in the room no 104 which was initially allotted to them. However, afterwards it was known that the room was already reserved for someone else hence Subhashini’s family was allotted room no 106 this time. Before shifting of the room, Subhashini had took off two of her diamond finger rings and kept it on the wash basin while cleaning the milk bottle.

However, she had to rush to attend her baby who had started crying and she forgot about the rings left on the basin. Later the family was shifted to a new room. After two days stay, the family reached back Delhi and then it dawned upon the lady that her rings were missing. The couple contacted the hotel management who denied of having had discovered any lost property after their check-out. Rao complained the matter with the Deputy Commissioner of police on Dec 12 and suspected three of the hotel staff including a Yoga teacher to have taken the rings. The zero FIR was transferred later to the SP office here and a case has been registered at the Ambamata police station.
