In Karnataka, Prime Minister Modi accuses Congress of twisting the history for vote bank politics

He said Chitradurga is soon going to become the hotspot of science and technology in the country. Remembering the last ruler of Chitradurga Madakari Nayaka and the bravery of Obavva, PM Modi slammed Congress for the policy of appeasement. He accussed Congress of twisting the history for vote bank politics.

The Prime Minister criticised the Congress party for dynastic politics and sidelining great personalities who played key role in nation building including Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The Prime Minister accussed Congress of showing apathy towards the backward and deprived sections of the society.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiya has exuded confidence that Congress will emerge victorious in the state assembly polls as his government has done a lot for the development of Karnataka and welfare of people.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, Siddharamaiya attacked BJP for ongoing income tax raids in the state. He said that the timing of the raids during elections is questionable. Attacking Yeddyurappa and Kumaraswamy, Siddharamaiya said that both the leaders are claiming that they would come to power, but said that none of them have won in many crucial constituencies. He added that Congress will come back to power in with full majority.
