ICRA assigns ‘Solar Power 1A’ rating to Tata Power’s TPDDL

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has been assigned Solar Power 1A (SP 1A) rating by ICRA, one of India’s leading rating agencies, for the second time in a row.

The acknowledgement has been credited to TPDDL as the highest honour rating of SP1A (pronounced as Solar Power One A) as a System Integration Grading for Solar PV projects. The rating indicates ‘Highest Performance Capability’ and ‘Highest Financial Strength’ of TPDDL to undertake system integration for solar PV projects.

Tata Power is India’s largest integrated power company with a growing international presence. The company together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has presence in all the segments of the power sector viz. Fuel Security and Logistics, Generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), Transmission, Distribution and Trading.
