Udaipur : Udaipur administration and police authorities refused permission to the Patidar quota stir leader Hardik Patel to hold a public meeting in Udaipur. The youth leader who arrived Udaipur on Monday evening was given a warm welcome at PratapNagar by large number of supporters. Later Hardik and his followers went to Namri Panchayat at Dabok, where a community gathering was scheduled. Since they didn’t receive the permission to hold the meeting, Hardik addressed without a mike, sources claimed.
“Hardik will leave for Mandsaur on Tuesday morning with large number of supporters. Patidar community of Gujarat and Rajasthan are in support of the MP farmers and Patel will meet the agitating community during his visit there. We have asked for permission and police protection from the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh police, Gehrilal Dangi, district president of Patel Navnirman Sena told Udaipur Kiran. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan and MadhyaPradesh police is said to have sealed the state borders so as to deter the quota stir leader to enter MP. Hardik Patel who had spent six months of extern in Udaipur had returned to his hometown in January.
