Campaigning gains momentum in Karnataka

Political temperatures continue to soar in poll bound Karnataka with all political parties trying to woo voters ahead of May 12 elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed an election rally in Bellary.

He said that desilting of Tungabhadra river will help thousands of farmers.

PM also hit out at congress for indulging in vote bank politics by influencing dalits and tribals.

Earlier, PM Modi addressed an election rally in Kalburgi. He said slammed congress government of the state for not fulfilling aspirations of the people of the state.

PM Modi also said that the Congress party has no respect for the sacrifices of our soldiers. He added that when our soldiers did surgical strikes, the Congress party questioned the strikes and kept asking for proof.

The Prime Minister will also address rally in Bellary and Bengaluru today. This is PM Modi’s second visit to the state this week. The Prime Minister launched his campaign on Tuesday with a blistering attack on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi also addressed public rally at Bidar in the state today. He appealed to the voters to vote for Congress in the upcoming elections.
