KOLKATA: Bharti Airtel, India’s No 1 phone company, on Wednesday unveiled refreshed home broadband packs with larger dollops of data at existing rates, giving home users a taste of the company’s ‘V-Fiber’ superfast broadband experience.
For instance, Airtel’s Rs 899 plan in Delhi now offers 60 GB of high speed data compared to 30GB earlier, while the Rs 1,099 plan will dish out 90GB compared to 50 GB earlier. The higher Rs 1,299 plan will offer 125GB compared to 75GB while the premium Rs 1,499 plan will offer 160GB compared to 100GB, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
Similar increments in data benefits have been effected at every price-point in every city with unlimited calling to any network available across all plans, the company added.
“Our new plans are aimed at putting India onto the digital superhighway and complement our superfast broadband offerings like ‘V-Fiber’,” Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy, CEO – Homes, Bharti Airtel (India) said in an official statement.
