Udaipur : A seven year old girl died after falling in the water tank inside her house in Bagwas area in Pratapgarh city on Sunday. Her family members were filling the tank during the water supply time when the incident happened. Manvi daughter of Netram Meghwal was a student of class one.
Her father and other family members were filling the tank for storing water that was kept inside the house. While her family brought in buckets of water and emptied in the tank, Manvi too was doing the same with a small vessel however she lost balance, slipped and fell inside the tank and as soon as her father came to know about it, he jumped inside to save her.
The family rushed the child to the district hospital but the child could not be saved. The family refused for the autopsy and took her body. Gloom descended in the locality as people were shocked to hear of the child’s sudden death, funeral was held later afternoon sources said.
